Our Story
When our dad, Fred, purchased the cottage in 1986, he dreamed of creating a welcoming place where family and friends could gather, unwind, and enjoy the simplicity of shore life. For decades, this home became the center of our summers and the place where he was happiest.
The Reno
After Fred passed away in 2022, we chose to honor him by restoring the cottage with care — preserving its nostalgic Avalon charm while thoughtfully updating it for modern comfort.
Today, the home blends the character of old Avalon with the elevated experience of a warm, curated retreat.
Our hope is that guests feel the same comfort and joy here that our family always did summer after summer.
Since Then…
our family has poured our hearts into bringing this cottage back to life…not to change what it was, but to protect what it has always meant to us.
Every design choice, every repair, every detail was made with two goals in mind: to honor Fred’s legacy, and to create a space where future families can feel the same sense of ease, warmth, and belonging that he created here for so many years.
We’ve updated the home with modern comforts while preserving the charm and simplicity that make Avalon feel timeless.
